    Javier Bonet began his studies in Spain under the tutelage of his father, continuing in Germany under Hermann Baumann. He has appeared as soloist with the majority of Spanish orchestras, in many other European countries, and in Taiwan, China, Venezuela, Argentina, Japan, and the United States. Among his various world premieres of concertos with orchestra, the first performance in 2009 of the concerto Ab Origine by Salvador Brotons is of particular significance. In the field of education, he regularly presents courses in Spain as well as abroad: Lisbon, Oporto, Paris, Budapest, Berlin, Bloomington, Mexico, Caracas, Beijing, and Tokyo. Of particular importance in his extensive discography as soloist are A Litany for the XXI Century, with A. Bañados, Great Romantic Horn Concertos, and the most recent Romances pour cor et piano with M. Gómez-Morán. A prize-winner in various international competitions, he now serves on the jury for the most prestigious competitions: Porcia, Geneva and ARD in Munich. Javier Bonet is a member of the National Orchestra of Spain since 1987 and professor at ESMUC in Barcelona.

    Miriam Gómez-Móran began her piano studies in Madrid with C. Deleito, M. Carra, J. L. Turina and J. Colom. In 1992 she moved to Budapest where she studied with professors F. Rados, K. Botvay and K. Zempléni at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. In 1998-2000 she studied harpsichord and fortepiano at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg (Germany) with R. Hill and M. Behringer, as well as piano with T. Szász. The winner of numerous national and international competitions, she pursues an active concert career and since 2000 she is professor of piano at the Conservatorio Superior de Salamanca.

    Aníbal Bañados was born in Santiago de Chile. He studied at the University of Chile with E. Waiss and M. Herrera, and at Indiana University with A Montecino, J. Orrego Salas and M. Pressler. In 1987 he received an MM in piano and conducting and established his residency in Madrid. As soloist he has toured in Costa Rica, Belgium, Portugal, Finland, Holland, Chile and Germany. He is director and professor of chamber music at the Conservatorio A. Salazar de Madrid.

    Orquesta Sinfónica de Burgos. With the sponsorship of the Instituto de Cultura y Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Burgos, the orchestra was founded in 2005. Under the baton of its music director, Javier Castro, the orchestra has had outstanding success in recordings in 2006 with the Chorus ARS NOVA, and in 2007 and 2008 at the festival Estío Musical Burgalés.
